MONTHLY FOOD PARCELS
Helping Western Cape is an extended arm of HELP for families that have falling into difficult situations through no fault of their own. We know times are tough and hunger is a problem we need to address with humanitarian aid relief and our monthly food parcels are a valuable lifeline.
Through a questionnaire process we screen the prospective beneficiaries referred to us by community leaders and churches in the area. Our focus is on vulnerable families with small children.
Monthly food parcels and/or basic necessities are delivered to those families in our care. An example is shown here.
When these families have recovered from their situation, they usually become our volunteers, thereby paying it forward and helping others in need.
